The Falls Experience
Everyone has a different Falls experience. Indeed, there’s music and the camping, but don’t forget our wonderful arts programs. Early birds enjoy the Artcamp and groove to Boogie Nights, late comers join the Fiesta and prefer the APRA peoples’ stage. Marion Bay may get the Films but everyone loves the Village. It's an arts smorgasbord.
Boogie Nights
Dancing solves everything, so have yourself an extra night of boogying at Falls before the rest of the gang arrives. It’s the night before both events ramp up, where music from all corners of the globe comes together.
The early bird gets the worm and this year it’s in countless flavours - French, Latin, African, Indian, the list goes on. With so much new music to discover and groove to, bring your friends, make some new ones and dance.
Falls Films
Its movie time, you bring the popcorn and we’ll bring the pictures. Starting as the sun goes in and the stars come out, only in Marion Bay. The 2011 programming will feature three new titles to delight even the finest of movie buffs appetites.
With selection processes more rigorous than Cannes, we can assure you that all films screening have received the Margaret and David stamp of approval. Watch this space closer to the event for full selections.
Falls Fiesta
Start puttin on the ritz! The Falls Fiesta is an extravaganza over NYE that celebrates all things decadent and fun. Put a costume on if you like, paint your face if you want to or just come and join the parade.
The more the merrier and the merrier the better, so jump on the end of that conga line. There’s simply no shame in getting dressed up like a million dollar trouper or trying hard to look like Gary Cooper, its super duper.
apra peoples stage
Calling all ticket holders, your chance to perform onstage and have your 15 minutes of fame is here. Anyone can apply to have their day in the sun, so jump on board. You can sing, dance, try some comedy on for size, assemble a barber shop quartet - anything goes, just give it a shot.

the village
It’s the festival within a festival, the party within a party. It’s the weird and it’s the wonderful. Take a trip to The Village and find out for yourself all the wondrous things awaiting.
We’ve got morning yoga sessions, samba classes and circus workshops, followed up with puppetry, burlesque and comedy, as well as a never ending list of the unexpected. There’s plenty of ways to get involved or just sit back and observe. It’s crazy. It’s quirky. It’s heaps of fun.
art camp
In the mood for a crafternoon? Spend a few days before the tunes, creating the art and the heart of the festival. We’ve got the glitter and the tools, the food and the shelter - all that’s missing is your fabulous creativity.
Running from the 17th - 21st of December, come and put your own colourful mark on the festival. It’s a great way to meet new people and get inspired. Apply here.
